DESCRIPTION:The main goal of this course is to provide basic concepts\, an
 d practical examples\, and hands-on exercises related to Data Management a
 ctivities for researchers and research support staff. The objectives of th
 e course are:\n\nFamiliarize participants with Data Management fundamental
 s and best practices for researchers and research support staff.\nIdentify
  the role and responsibilities of Data Managers in research activities.\nI
 llustrate the practical application of FAIR principles for managing resear
 ch data.\nDiscuss the European context for Data Management\, including Dat
 a Management Plans for HE.\nIntroduce the concepts and practices of Open S
 cience and Open Data.\nPrepare participants to design and deliver introduc
 tory training on RDM topics.\nFacilitate hands-on exercises to: a) Compare
  and contrast various DMP tools and templates available to researchers b) 
 Develop a Data Management Plan for a research project c) Assess the qualit
