Description

HPC Serbia, in collaboration with the CTRUST project, will organize a two-day hybrid workshop titled CTRUST Workshop Trust: Foundation, Measurement, and Relevance on collective trust at the Institute of Physics Belgrade on 22 and 23 December 2025.

Trust acts as a glue that binds society. The rise of trust within social groups is a complex, collective process that remains poorly understood. CTRUST seeks to investigate how collective trust develops in online social groups by integrating methods from statistical physics, computer science, and sociology. The workshop will gather researchers from various disciplines to discuss the fundamentals, measurement, and societal importance of online social groups and the development of collective trust within them.

The venue is at the Institute of Physics Belgrade, Pregrevica 118, 11080 Belgrade, and the workshop will also be streamed via Zoom.
