DESCRIPTION:This course will take place as an online event. The link to th
 e streaming platform will be provided to the registrants only. The course 
 will be held in English.\nCourse Content:\nThe Unreal Engine is one of the
  state-of-the-art 3D engines\, which is mainly used for game development. 
 In recent years\, however\, its use in industry and science has been stead
 ily increasing\, which is further supported by new features from the produ
 cer Epic Games. The course offered here gives a basic introduction to the 
 major functions when using the Unreal Editor and Visual Studio\, offers ti
 ps and tricks for scientific use and deepens the acquired knowledge by usi
 ng and extending an example application. We will talk about the difference
  between Blueprints and C++ and when to use which one\, but we will also f
 ocus on the use of third party tools and the different possibilities of co
