DESCRIPTION:\nContents\nQURI SDK is a comprehensive software development k
it designed to streamline the research and development of quantum computin
g algorithms. Using a user-friendly Python interface\, users can efficient
ly develop\, simulate\, and evaluate quantum algorithms across various arc
hitectures and devices.\nThe workshop will provide a practical deep dive i
nto:\n\n\nQURI Parts: Learn the core open-source library that provides the
fundamental building blocks for constructing advanced quantum algorithms.
\n\n\nQURI VM: Understand how to evaluate and simulate algorithm performan
ce\, including an introduction to tools for circuit transpilation and quan
tum resource estimation.\n\n\nThe QSCI Algorithm Family: While QURI ALGO s
upports a broad range of methods\, this session focuses on QSCI (Quantum S
 elected Configuration Interaction)—including Adapt-QSCI\, TE-QSCI\, and
 Lossy-QSCI—tailored for quantum-classical hybrid systems.\n\n\nHands-on
Labs: Participants will use Jupyter Notebook instances to gain practical e
xperience with QSCI for ground state calculations.\n\n\nFTQC Development:
We will explore Qsub\, a specialized library for Fault-Tolerant Quantum Co
mputing (FTQC) subroutine development\, and briefly cover the "scaffolding
" feature for automated code generation.\n\n\nPrerequisites\nThis training
is designed for researchers\, students\, and developers who are already f
amiliar with the basics of quantum computing and are looking to transition
from theoretical knowledge to practical implementation on near-term and e
arly-FTQC hardware.\nHands-On\nContent is presented in interactive session
s with demos and hands-on exercises. Participants are expected to bring th
eir own laptops. There are no PCs installed in the seminar room!Details of
the course can be found here\n\n\nhttps://events.hpc-portal.eu/event/450/
