Unlocking CFD Performance at Scale with Ansys Fluent

In this session we explore together with Infinite Solution Systems how Ansys Fluent can be combined with supercomputing to significantly accelerate CFD workflows. We present recent advances in meshing and demonstrate how the native multi-GPU solver enables major speedups on VSC GPU infrastructure, including practical deployment and scalability results.

As a real-world case, we showcase a collaboration with the Innoptus Solar Team (KU Leuven), where aerodynamic CFD simulations were migrated from CPU to GPU to support rapid solar car development. The session covers aerodynamic optimization, fin design validation, race strategy simulations for the Australian competition, and wind-tunnel validation of the CFD models.
