 nment\nIntroduction to a typical user environment on LRZ Linux Cluster sys
 tem\nLinux terminal access and file transfer tools\nUsage of the module sy
 stem\nThe batch queuing or scheduling system SLURM\nIntroduction to a typi
 cal CFD-oriented workflow on the example of ANSYS CFD\, StarCCM+ and Abaqu
 s\nAspects of licensing of commercial CFD and CSM software at LRZ\nQ & A\n
 \nContents are subject to modifications.\nPrerequisites\nThis course is ad
 dressed to young scientists\, PHD students and under-graduate students (Ma
 ster level) with so far limited to no experience with Computational Fluid 
 Dynamics (CFD)\, but with the aim to use in future the High-Performance Co
 mputing (HPC) resources of the LRZ for their fluid dynamics (CFD) or struc
 tural mechanics (CSM) oriented research. For this introductory course no f
 urther pre-existing HPC knowledge is required.\nHands-On\nNone\, demo of L
