We welcome applications from OpenFOAM users who would like to use Komondor for their simulations, as well as from those who are already running simulations on Komondor and would like to exchange experiences with other users. We also welcome applications from users running other (FVM-based) CFD simulations on Komondor (such as ANSYS Fluent, CFX, Star-CCM+, etc.), as there are many common challenges and opportunities across these applications.
During the workshop, we will use a tutorial case study to demonstrate how running a simulation on Komondor differs from running it on a desktop machine. We will present the available software versions, the update policy, and the method for loading these versions.
We will also show examples of how to monitor and improve performance. In addition, we will discuss different parallelization approaches for small and large workloads. Finally, we will demonstrate how results can be efficiently checked and visualized in ParaView using specialized settings
